PSW / HSW Overnight

Company Description

We are currently hiring  Personal Support Workers (PSWs)  and  Home Support Workers (HSWs) for  Overnight   shifts  (10 hour shift =$160 ; 12 hour shift = $200) in York region including : Durham (Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa), Vaughan (Concord, Maple, King City, Kleinburg), Markham, Keswick, Thornhill, Richmond Hill and  Scarborough .

In this role, you will be a valued and trusted overnight companion to a senior, helping them with day-to-day living activities including personal care, meal preparation and light housekeeping duties. You will also encourage and assist the senior in engaging in exercise, leisure and social activities to promote physical and mental wellbeing.

Job Description

• Provides companionship and support for clients including both “awake” coverage and “resting” coverage
• Bedside sitting for clients in long term care / retirement facilities, or in private residences
• Assist clients with household tasks (ex : light meal prep and housekeeping)
• Assist clients with mobility
• Listen, observe and communicate any concerns / changes in the client’s physical, emotional and / or environmental condition
