We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist / HR Admin to support recruitment and HR operations across both Overlanders Manufacturing and Hansen Industries. This role is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle for skilled trades, production staff, and professional roles, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates to meet current and future workforce needs.
In addition to leading end‑to‑end recruitment, this position will support a range of HR administrative functions, helping maintain smooth daily operations within the HR department. You will work closely with HR and Management teams to understand staffing requirements, develop sourcing strategies, coordinate interviews, and deliver an excellent candidate and employee experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage the full end‑to‑end recruitment cycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and preparing offers.
- Identify staffing needs and develop accurate job descriptions and recruitment plans.
- Source qualified candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, social media, networking, employee referrals, and recruitment events.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring demands.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews while ensuring consistency and adherence to hiring practices and policies.
- Enhance the candidate experience by maintaining timely communication and providing feedback throughout the process.
- Work closely with the HR team on workforce planning, employer branding, and recruitment strategies.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, cost‑per‑hire, source of hire, etc.) and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure recruitment practices align with employment legislation, equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) goals, and internal policies.
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and community outreach programs.
HR Support (As Needed) :
Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and new‑hire documentation.Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date employee records within HR systems.Support continuous improvement initiatives for HR processes, documentation, and systems.Assist with policy administration, HR communications, and various HR projects as required.Employment Details :
Full-Time Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM (40 hours per week)Flexibility is available with schedule and shift, if needed.
Wage Range : $21 - $25 per hour (based on experience and skill level)Vehicle Requirement : Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle., as occasional travel to different company locations is required.Work Location & Flexibility :
Your primary work location will be Overlanders Manufacturing (Abbotsford, BC). However, please note that from time to time, you may be required to perform work at Hansen Industries (Richmond, BC) based on operational needs.
Qualifications :
2-4 years of recruitment or HR experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong understanding of full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing strategies for skilled trades and production roles.Familiarity with employment legislation, HR best practices, and health & safety standards.Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and the MS Office Suite.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.What We Offer :
