Administrative Assistant – Production Department
Location : Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
Hours : 42.5–50 hours per week, Monday–Saturday (occasional Sunday, season dependent)

The Role
Think of yourself as the glue that keeps our Production Office humming. You’ll juggle purchase orders, chat with vendors, print labels, wrangle packing orders, and coordinate logistics — all while keeping things organized and on track. It’s fast-paced, hands-on, and never boring. If you thrive on variety and love keeping things running smoothly, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do ????
- Keep purchase orders flowing — create, revise, and share updates with the team.
- Be our vendor liaison : source products, confirm pricing, and ensure quality.
- Print UPCs, box labels, and special labels (because details matter!).
- Stay on top of inventory for labels, ribbons, and supplies.
- Prep packing orders, double-check quantities, and keep postings accurate.
- Process invoices and keep Finance smiling with timely submissions.
- Flag and fix product quality issues with suppliers.
- Create POs for outside growers and external suppliers.
- Coordinate pickups, deliveries, and product movement with logistics.
What We’re Looking For ????
3–5 years of greenhouse admin or office experience.Quick decision-making skills (you’re cool under pressure).Strong communication and people skills.Advanced Microsoft Office wizardry (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts).Number-crunching skills for cycle counts and reconciliations.Attention to detail that borders on superpower.Math skills for speedy calculations.Flexibility to pitch in across departments when needed.English fluency required; Spanish bilingualism is a bonus!Education
Post-secondary degree / diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent experience (preferred).Working Conditions ????❄️
