As the director, you will champion how customers realize value from Vention’s turnkey projects. The commissioning function is focused on nurturing key relationships and bringing Vention’s latest technologies to market successfully. The commissioning team consists of engineers, technicians, software developers, and project managers. Taking charge of the projects in the final phases of pre-sales, the team is accountable for the on-time, on-cost delivery of the scope and is responsible for the installation, programming, testing, and commissioning of our client’s projects. Your ability to develop engineering and project management teams in industrial automation will help you influence the products Vention builds and set up Vention’s key partners for success. Collaborating closely with the technical sales team, you and your team will play a pivotal role in expanding Vention’s client base and nurturing existing clients. Your vast domain expertise will help you identify development opportunities in Vention’s technologies and build the next automation giant.
More specifically, your role will include :
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, automation, or robotics engineering - or related field.
10+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or robotics.
8+ years of experience in leading technical teams.
Broad and deep understanding of customers across industries, segments, and geographies.
Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of project management methodologies and budget management.
Experience and ability to adapt and build processes from the ground up.
Proven leadership skills, with experience building and managing teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across all levels of the organization.
