Fountain Tire Kindersley is looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal or Apprentice) to join our team! As a member of our team, you will enjoy a number of benefits and a supportive work environment.

What you'll do

Diagnose the cause of any malfunction on a customer's vehicle

Perform appropriate repairs with accuracy and efficiency

Complete approved service on customer vehicles

Test and adjust vehicle systems to manufacturer's performance specifications

Perform scheduled maintenance service such as oil changes, lubrications and tune-ups

Advise customers and associates on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements

Maintain mechanical service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis

Operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner

Support customer relationships by responding to customer inquiries

Qualifications

Registered Apprentice or fully licensed / Red Seal status in the Automotive Service Technician trade

Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and skills required to provide mechanical service

Diagnostic specialist who enjoys keeping up with modern technology

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Commitment to providing a superior customer experience

Valid driver's license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract on an annual basis
