Our client is looking an Senior Instructional Designer to work with the business, functional and process resources as well as use project collateral (process maps / documentation, and sandbox environments) to plan and develop the SSAP training deliverables
11 months contract, possibility of extension
Preferably 2 days in office in Greater Vancouver.
Will consider remote with visit one of the office locations once or twice a month in Greater Vancouver
Requirements :
- 6+ years experience as an Instructional Designer, including planning and developing training materials based on business process flows for technology applications
- 4+ years experience in developing end user training content / materials including lesson plans, learning plans and end users’ materials in the appropriate modality
- 2-3 years with training development applications such as Camtasia / EnableNow
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and
- Extreme attention to detail
Nice to have
- SAP experience, especially with the Asset Management module
- Enable Now- SAP’s training application
Responsibilities :
- Plan training curricula and course outlines.
- Develop end user training content / materials including lesson plans, learning plans and end users’ materials in the appropriate modality including : Course delivery material (PowerPoints, simulations, in App help), Trainee hands-on exercises, Supplementary job aids, simulations or In-App Help in Enable-Now, Trainer notes, Quizzes / knowledge tests
- Facilitate the review and approval of training materials.
- Report on progress of material development on a weekly basis.
- Publish training content to EnableNow ahead of go-live.
- Prepare training environment data and trainee scenarios for classroom exercises; develop trainer data sheet.
- Deliver Train-the-Trainer training to Business SMEs who will deliver the courses to end users.
- Support training delivery across the province, as needed.
