Job Responsibilities
Build and install electrical control systems in line with codes and standards (CSA B149, NFPA 86, NFPA 70, UL795, TSSA regulations).Align installations with Draeger’s engineering designs.Install, monitor, troubleshoot and replace electrical equipment and circuits using appropriate tools and instruments.Perform testing and commissioning, following Draeger’s Acceptance Test Protocol.Inspect and update electrical schedules.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for the manufacture and installation of complete projects.Provide customer service, troubleshooting, and training to operators and maintenance staff.Assist gas technicians with service calls and interact with third‑party authorities for field inspections.Document testing, training, handover, and maintain clean, safely managed manufacturing areas.Mentor other electricians and adhere to safety requirements.Qualifications
Graduate from an apprenticeship program; licensed under Ontario regulations.Certified electrician with 5 or more years in electrical technology manufacturing and installation, preferably in industrial environments.Exceptional organization skills and strong verbal and written communication.In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Professional and courteous handling of internal and external contacts.Experience managing confidential information and working on multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with strong attention to detail.Skills
Knowledge of CSA, TSSA, NFPA codes and guidelines.Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve field issues.Excellent workload and time management for simultaneous projects.Valid driver’s license and good driving record.Ability to obtain valid international travel documents.Benefits
