Process Engineer

I'm Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specialized in engineering and manufacturing roles. I'm looking for a Process Engineer to join a leading metal parts manufacturer based in Laval.Your RoleAs a key link between Production, Quality, and Engineering, you'll be responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes and product parameters to ensure high-quality, reliable components. You'll also play an active role in continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.Key responsibilities include :

• Define, configure, and update product specifications and process parameters.
• Monitor and improve process control; support the development of new products.
• Provide hands-on technical support to production and engineering teams.
• Analyze and correct metallurgical defects using advanced testing methods.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Supervise material testing operations (tensile, chemical, hardness, metallography).
• Participate in customer claims, internal / external audits, and process validations.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards.Your Profile
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Materials Engineering (Technical College diploma accepted with relevant experience).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (foundry background is a strong asset).
• Fully bilingual (French / English).
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.Working Conditions
• Permanent, full-time position (day shift).
• Annual salary range : $75,000 - $110,000 CAD, depending on experience.
