More specifically, the position holder will be expected to :

• Know and consistently comply with quality and food safety standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies
• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery or equipment—such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, boilers, etc.—according to plans and using manual and power tools
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment preventively to detect irregularities and malfunctions
• Read plans, diagrams, schematics, documents, and procedures to determine the appropriate course of action
• Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
• Use machining tools, such as lathes and grinders, to manufacture parts needed for machine repair, maintenance, or assembly
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks on machinery and work areas
• Troubleshoot and replace motors
• Replace photocells with wiring
• Perform minor electrical troubleshooting
• Carry out any other related tasks
