Responsibilities :

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for high-rise construction projects.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine the scope of work, materials, labor, and equipment required.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure estimates meet project requirements and expectations.
  • Assist with the preparation of project budgets and timelines.
  • Conduct site visits to gather project details and ensure estimates are aligned with site-specific conditions.
  • Monitor project costs and report on any variations from the original estimate.

    • Skills and Experience :

  • Construction Expertise : Proven experience estimating for high-rise construction projects, from planning to execution.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong ability to interpret complex construction plans and provide accurate cost estimates.
  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in an estimating role within the construction industry, particularly in high-rise construction.
  • Education : Post-secondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

    • Extra Consideration will be given to candidates with experience in :

  • High-Rise Construction, Cost Estimation, Project Budgeting, Scheduling, Commercial Construction, and Construction Software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
