The machinist works under the supervision of the production machining foreman. The selected individual machines industrial pump parts and ensures their quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide support to various team members;
• Machine steel or other alloy parts on a conventional lathe, radial drill and milling machine;
• Adjust, balance, and measure parts with precision;
• Assess damaged parts;
• Participate in creating plans for part modifications;
• Maintain assigned equipment, workstation, and tools;
• Evaluate the scope of work and its relevance;
• Collaborate and coordinate work with various trades;
• Actively participate in achieving team objectives;
• Observe production-related issues and propose concrete and innovative solutions to implement;
• Perform any other related tasks.
