Reporting to the Project Manager, the Document Control Specialist will be part of a high-performing project team dedicated to delivering a major transit project. The role focuses on supporting document control processes, ensuring accurate organization and tracking of project documentation. The Document Control Specialist will assist in the distribution of documents, maintain filing systems, and help ensure compliance with project standards.

This position will be located in the GTA.

What you'll be working on

• Assist in the development and implementation of Document Management framework to ensure compliance with the Governance system framework.
• Ensure project documentation is received, tracked and monitored according to Document Management Plan.
• Perform Quality and Compliance checks on documentation.
• Collaborate in system improvements and rollouts.
• Provide support and training to Project team on document management.
• Support with audits to ensure document management processes are well implemented and ensure data integrity.
• Undertake reporting as required.
• Onboard Project team and subcontractor to document management system.
• Ensure Client and other stakeholders are onboarded to the document management system and supported through the lifecycle of the project.
