The vibrant Department of Arts, Culture and Media (ACM) at the University of Toronto Scarborough (UTSC) brings together a wealth of artistic and academic activity under one umbrella. Your opportunity :
We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Communications and Departmental Assistant to join our team.
As Communications Assistant, you will support the Chair or designate to ensure clear, coherent, coordinated and timely communication of the Department’s message across all channels. You will manage the Department’s internal and external communications on all programming, teaching and research related activities. In collaboration with various stakeholders, you will coordinate the preparation of high-quality communication materials, disseminate information, update and maintain the department’s website and social media presence and maintain a repository of digital media records.
As Departmental Assistant, you will assist our Curriculum and Programming Office in running our programming and recruitment events, and in providing student services on general inquiries, field placements, data collection and report generation, among others.
This role requires someone who is proactive, can work with minimal supervision and appreciates our unique environment by demonstrating a commitment to collaboration and teamwork.

USW Pay Band 08 $62,832. with an annual step progression to a maximum of $80,351. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation / Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
