Applications Programmer

Accountabilities and responsibilities :

Applications Programmer will understand upstream data, map stakeholder requirements to identify the required data, and develop Reports and analytical dashboards using the data.

Flexible to work across different platforms like Azure, SSIS, Access, and Tableau and ensure reengineered processes meet the business needs and current technology architecture.

Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in the reporting

Create and maintain detailed documentation on all projects / requests.

Applications Programmer will validate the quality and integrity of the data included in the Reporting Packages and Dashboards

Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards

Design / develop dashboards and scorecards to support business needs; ensure alignment of metrics across the organization

Must have :

years experience in business analysis, ETL development, reporting, and working with large volumes of data, ideally within financial services.

years' Experience in SQL writing complex queries and good experience working in Pyspark / Python preferably in an Azure environment

Extensive knowledge of data engineering practices and developing scalable data pipelines

Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to interpret data and do trend analysis to identify anomalies and the ability to understand Tableau

Project and time management skills and working independently to deliver on the tasks.

Experience using visualization tools and ability to develop basic to intermediate complex Tableau Dashboards.

Note

years experience in a business analyst role developing Tableau dashboards, ETL development, and stakeholder discussions to understand requirements and implement those while working with large volumes of data, ideally within financial services.

Comfortable working with data and ability to identify data patterns to provide meaningful insights.

Well organized, high attention to detail, results-oriented.
