About the team

The Platform Operations team at Roku plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless end-user experience across our streaming platform. As a central hub the team collaborates closely with Content Operations Editorial Engineering QA and Customer Support to ensure the reliability and quality of our service. This is a dynamic group that values technical expertise cross-functional collaboration. A deep appreciation for the entertainment industry is desirable.

Roku is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer as part of the Technical Operations Department responsible for the end-user experience of the Roku platform including TRC (The Roku Channel).You will be working as part of our Global Technical Operations team with the unique opportunity to interact with many different aspects of Roku including live Operations advertising operations Editorial Engineering and Customer support. For this role we are seeking someone with a good understanding of the AdTech space. You will support troubleshoot and triage issues relating to advertising on the Roku platform. An understanding of Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) is desirable

What you will be doing

• Prioritize issues for engineering to resolve and facilitating communication to operational and business stakeholders
• Work with the broader technical operations team to support Roku infrastructure including Ad services
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve day-to-day issues some data analysis work will be needed
