SUMMARY :

Merit Services Ltd. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our client’s team in Ajax. As a Business Analyst, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and provide valuable insights and solutions to drive business growth and operational efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, gather requirements, and document business processes.
Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and develop clear and concise documentation.
Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired states and recommend solutions.
Assist in the design and implementation of new systems, processes, and workflows.
Conduct data analysis to extract insights and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions and monitor their effectiveness.
Conduct user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
Provide training and support to end users to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to the business domain.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail.

Proficiency in business analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively.

Experience with process modeling, requirements gathering, and documentation.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and software tools.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work on multiple projects concurrently.
