Protection & Control Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Phasor Engineering is a dynamic North America based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing / commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Protection & Control Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be based out of our Burnaby BC office.

If you are an excellent communicator and skilled problem-solver with strong attention to detail, we offer a dynamic work environment where you will be continuously challenged in all aspects of the testing and commissioning process.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the development of protection and control designs from conceptual through implementation stages.
• Prepare and review single-line diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and bill of materials
• Perform engineering calculations related to protection coordination and system studies
• Program Protection & Control devices
• Participate in site visits and commissioning activities to learn practical application of designs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects
