As a Payroll Technician at Quantic Dream, you will be called upon to work directly with management to ensure efficient end-to-end management of payroll projects and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including processing semi-monthly payrolls and off-cycle payrolls, managing RRSPs & DPSPs related contributions, and overseeing interactions with our payroll provider, while focusing on accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality.
  • Oversee payroll documentation and reporting, including maintaining files and records, generating reports, assisting with year-end documents, preparing journal entries, participating in audits and supporting special projects as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legislative requirements, while keeping up to date with current payroll-related legislation.
  • Provide expert customer service and support by serving as a primary resource for employees, managers, and departments; addressing internal and external payroll inquiries and assisting employees with bi-monthly timesheet maintenance.

Experiences & Qualifications

  • College diploma in accounting or equivalent;
  • At least 3 years of experience in payroll or similar;
  • Proficiency in Excel;
  • Accreditation as a Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP), an asset;
  • Experience acting as a point of contact with an external payroll provider like OuiPay, an asset.
