Responsibilities
- Performs routine and repetitive operations of an assembly nature
- Prepare kitted parts for other facilities
- Duties may be any one or any combination of the following :
- Taping of duct sticks for winding areas
- Replenish workbench supplies such as nomex pads, channels, tape, sleeving, weld rod, etc.
- Thermowells (regular, mylar, wrapped and Kanban)
- Prepare kits – P1, 2, 3, 4, 5
- Prepare sleeving for primary and secondary lugs for units requiring them
- Maintains Scrap Procedure
- Collects, sorts, weighs, records, determines reason for scrap, and locks in storage bin
Qualifications
Must have previous experience weldingMust have good knowledge of terms, definitions, methods and techniques used in the manufacturing of transformersMust have some knowledge of the mechanical and electrical properties of copper, steel and insulations used in the manufacturing of transformersSeniority Level
