This allows us to perform an independent analysis of problems and, where required, to modify or redesign components. Our expertise lies in the fields of aerodynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, stress analysis, metallurgy and mechanical design as they apply to aircraft and land based gas turbines. The company offers firm opportunities for career growth in an attractive but yet challenging technical environment.We are currently seeking candidate(s) who are qualified for the role of Control Systems Software Developer. The role of Control Systems Software Developer reports to the LAWS Software Manager. Liburdi Turbine Services offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm, Monday to Friday.Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to) : Work directly with customers to define requirements, train and support end users.Communicate ideas effectively with other developers during planning sessions and code reviews.Design, develop, test, debug and document software solutions from start to finish.Assist in the maintenance, support, and updating of our existing codebases.Research and learn new technology and tools in software development on an ongoing basis. Key Skill Requirements : Excellent results oriented planning, organization and project skillsSelf-starter with an ability to work both independently and as part of a teamAbility to effectively multi-taskAbility to prioritize work effectivelyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKey Experience / Education : 1 to 3 years experience is preferredBachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Computer Science degree is requiredExperience with Visual Studio .NET, C#, C++, XML is requiredExperience with PLC programming is an assetKnowledge of OpenGL, OpenCV (Emgu), OpenTK or similar libraries and toolkits is an assetKnowledge of 3D geometry, linear algebra, numerical methods and algorithms is an assetKnowledge of Omron Delta Tau products is an assetFamiliarity with welding processes is an assetExperience with robotic arms and / or gantry system is an asset Application Information : All roles are full-time.
