Role Overview :
As the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, driving budgeting and financial planning, and leading a team to deliver exceptional results.
The ideal candidate will be CPA-designated (or near completion), have substantial experience within the real estate industry, and demonstrate proven leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Mentor and lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and development.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial recommendations that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial projects and initiatives.
Qualifications :
- CPA designation or near completion.
- A minimum of 8 years of accounting experience within the real estate industry.
- Proven leadership experience, including team management and mentorship.
- Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
