About The Role

We’re hiring a Shipping & Packaging Associate to support our shipping department by packaging finished machined parts for delivery to customers and helping with day‑to‑day shop logistics. This role is on our Day Shift (Monday‑Friday 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm). This is an entry‑level role – no prior manufacturing experience required. We’re hiring for attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. Training will be provided.

You’ll work closely with the Shipping Manager and spend most of your day carefully packaging parts, preparing orders for shipment, making local deliveries, and helping wherever needed in the shop. Every part that leaves our building passes through shipping, so this role plays a critical part in our operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Package machined parts according to customer and internal instructions.
• Prepare orders for shipment and ensure parts are protected and labeled correctly.
• Drive a company F‑150 for local deliveries and supply pickups.
• Receive and inspect parts returning from subcontractors.
• Assist the finishing department with light post‑machining handwork when needed.
• Record completed work in our ERP system (training provided).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support general shop needs and basic equipment upkeep.
• With training, occasionally cover shipping and receiving duties during vacations or absences, including preparing shipping paperwork, coordinating couriers, receiving material, and operating an automated horizontal bandsaw.
