Responsibilities
- Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products, provide tax guidance, review personal tax returns, prepare full-service returns, and manage product / software inquiries.
- Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to research and deliver the right answers to customers in clear terms.
- Interact with customers via our state‑of‑the‑art video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, working a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Provide your CRA Representative Identifier (RepID) for access to the CRS Represent a Client service upon successful onboarding.
- Use professional tax software to prepare personal tax returns with complex elements such as employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
- Deliver real‑time tax guidance to English‑ and French‑speaking clients across Canada.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of paid professional experience preparing personal tax returns.Experience preparing business tax returns (T2) and Quebec provincial returns (TP1).Proficiency in professional tax software for complex returns.Excellent customer service skills, confident and friendly interaction via video and audio tools.Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to provide real‑time guidance to clients in both languages.Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, minimum 20 hours per week.Additional Skills & Abilities
Fundamental understanding of tax laws, concepts, and year‑over‑year changes.Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, empathy.Complex problem solving, taking ownership and escalating when appropriate.Research and resourcefulness, continuous learning curiosity.Technical acumen, willingness to learn tools, basic troubleshooting ability.Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range : PEI $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hour; BC $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hour; Nova Scotia $24.50 / hour – $33.50 / hour. Eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with Intuit’s compensation and benefits program. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location, with ongoing efforts to maintain pay equity across ethnicity and gender categories.
