Here's what you'd do : -The Machinist responsible for setting up and preparing CNC machines for production runs.-This role involves configuring the machine, selecting and installing tools, and ensuring the machine operates efficiently to produce parts that meet precise specifications.-A deep understanding of machining, technical drawings, and CNC programming is essential.-Interpret and analyze engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.-Set up Lathe machines by selecting and installing appropriate tools, fixtures, and attachments.-Load raw materials into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.-Input and modify CNC programs to match specific job requirements.-Operate CNC machines to perform complex tasks such as lathe, drilling, and cutting from multiple angles and planes.-Monitor machine operations to ensure precision and accuracy, making real-time adjustments as needed.-Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments.-Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components.-Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues that arise during machine set-up or production.-Collaborate with maintenance technicians for more complex repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.-Ensure all produced parts meet strict quality standards and specifications.-Document and report any defects or deviations from specifications, implementing corrective actions as necessary.-Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and maintenance activities.
