Veterinary Assistant

VCA Canada Como Lake Animal Hospital welcomes a Veterinary Assistant to join our awesome two-doctor hospital! Our beautiful community, wonderful clients, and skilled team will give you a chance to love your work and grow your skills every day! This opportunity includes a range of responsibilities which will have you working side by side with our veterinarians, RVTs and other VAs in every aspect of patient and client care.
We welcome both experienced VAs and new grads to apply! You will love the opportunity to work with experienced team members who are passionate about vet med!
General responsibilities;
Assist veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
Create a warm and welcoming environment for our patient and pet parents
General hospital care including cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas and common areas
Willingness to learn and grow your skillset.

Ability to ask questions and take instructions
