You will also be responsible for ensuring the qualification of critical components during product development. The candidate must act as a technical interface between internal engineering, quality, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability, compliance with requirements, and process control. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and optimize processes surrounding supplier quality management;* Approve First Article Inspection (FAI) from suppliers (AS9102); ● Manage FAI deviations and ensure the implementation of effective corrective actions;* Analyze and validate dimensional, functional, and documentary reports;* Lead DFM (Design For Manufacturability) activities between core engineering and suppliers;* Validate the manufacturability of drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and special requirements;* Conduct supplier audits;* Approve and maintain the qualification of special processes;* Evaluate the manufacturing capability of suppliers;* Review supplier change requests and coordinate with engineering and purchasing to assess impacts;* Participate in design reviews (NPI, ECO, revision changes);* Identify technical risks and propose solutions upstream;* Ensure coordination of inspection activities between the quality control team and suppliers. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;* Technical knowledge to understand technical drawings of molded, machined, electronic parts, etc.;* Knowledge of sampling methods and control plans;* Knowledge of statistics, particularly methods for defining process capability (Cpk, Ppk), control charts, and repeatability and reproducibility analyses (gauge R&R); - Bilingualism (French / English);* Available for supplier visits (between 5 and 10%) (CAN / US);* Experience in continuous improvement;* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
