Specialty Fitness Instructor – Yoga, Barre, Pilates, Zumba, Older Adult

programs and services to residents of all ages and abilities. ABOUT YOU

You are an energetic and highly motivated individual who is available to instruct Yoga, Barre, Pilates, and / or Zumba. You have an excellent understanding of class facilitation associated with specialty certification and are skilled at proper and safe use of a variety of equipment during each class. You are a team player who is committed to community recreation. You are reliable, responsive to customer needs, and excellent at building relationships. You are courteous and effective with the public and enjoy working with a diverse group of people with varying fitness levels. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :

The ideal candidate will be certified in Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Older Adult and / or Zumba from a recognized provider and have a current certification in Emergency First Aid & CPR / AED.

All candidates are required to submit a Police Information Check as a condition of employment. The pay for this casual position is $33.95 per hour plus 4% vacation pay. Hours vary. Instructors should be prepared to teach mornings, evenings and / or weekend classes at any North Vancouver Recreation & Culture location.
