Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain cremation equipment and C.E.M.S units according to established procedures and safety protocols.
- Ensure the proper handling, dignity and respectful treatment of human and cremated remains at all times.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of the cremation process and all subsequent records.
- Professional communication with funeral homes.
- Clear & kind communication with families.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Provide support to families during the cremation process.
- Processing and respectful packaging of remains.
- Cleaning and maintenance of witnessing rooms.
- Adherence to all workplace safety regulations.
Qualifications
Have a valid OACFP Crematorium Operation Certification.Minimum 2 years of experience as a Crematorium Operator or related role.Strong understanding of cremation regulations and best practices.Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a committed team.Compassionate and respectful demeanor, with a strong work ethic.Valid G class driver's license.Desired Role Traits
