Our client located in the Old Port of Montreal is currently looking to hire a full time Receptionist for their office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, respectful, and personable. This pivotal role is suited for individuals who excel in communication and are dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience, serving as the welcoming face and essential first point of contact for the company.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome clients and guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary office supplies and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone / email
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail / deliveries
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Keep inventory of stock and office supplies
- Assess task priorities, while respecting Court deadlines
- Take initiative and ensure it’s follow-up
- Interact with the various judicial entities
- Work in collaboration with bailiffs, stenographers and court messengers
- Open, close and file documents
- Maintain an up-to-date filing system
- Any other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
High school degreeProfessional attitude and appearanceCustomer service orientedHands-on experience with office equipment (fax machines, computers, and printers)Excellent communication skills- bilingualism (French / English) required, both orally and in writing to communicate with our clientsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Adobe Acrobat Pro, etc.Eager to acquire new software skillsProactive approach, good organizational skills and attention to detailsAutonomy and organizational skills for efficient executionCollaborative attitude, attention to quality, discretion, and punctualityTeam player and ability to work under pressure.Job Benefits
