We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Desktop Support Technician to provide first-level technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 11, ticketing systems, and a foundational understanding of networking and Active Directory. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support a variety of hardware and software environments. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide technical support for end-user hardware such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 11 operating systems
- Use a ticketing system to log, track, and manage service requests
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and group memberships in Active Directory
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity and access issues
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues and solutions
Required Qualifications :
1+ year of experience in IT support or a related roleHands-on experience troubleshooting warehouse RF hardware (scan guns).Knowledge and support of label printing devices.Hands-on experience with Windows 11Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, etc.)Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.)Experience with Active Directory user and group managementStrong knowledge of end-user hardware : desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printersMust have access to a reliable car(for onsite visits).Excellent communication and customer service skills
