Truck Driver-Patrolman/Labourer

Combined position for a Truck Driver-Winter Patrolman (5 months per year) and also a Labourer (7 months per year).
Regular full-time position (non-unionized)
Workplaces : Embrun
Schedule : 40 hours / week
Hourly rate : $30.47 to $32.96
Closing date : November 21, 2024, at 4 : 00 p.m.

Requirements :
- High school diploma.
- Ability to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing).
- Own a valid class DZ driver’s license.
- Must be able to get to the garage within 30 minutes following the foreman’s call.
Assets :
- Experience in welding and / or mechanical repair.
- WHMIS, St. John Ambulance or tire installation courses.
- One year of experience with snowplow and as a salt and sand spreader operator.
- Two years of experience in road construction and maintenance.
A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
