Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services / Treasurer, the Manager of Legislative Services / Municipal Clerk provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Legislative Services Division. This includes Council and Committee services, municipal elections, by-law enforcement, animal control, and records management. As the statutory Municipal Clerk under the Municipal Act, this position plays a vital governance and compliance role, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements and best practices in municipal administration. The Clerk is also a key advisor to Council, the CAO, and senior leadership, fostering transparent, accountable, and effective decision-making processes.
