Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry and general household management.
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
- Administer personal care services in accordance with the care plan directives.
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest possible standard.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs.
- Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while demonstrating current competency.
- Observe and document client conditions in line with company standards and promptly report any unusual events or changes to the Supervisor or Office.
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Completion of a formal, accredited caregiver training program and / or equivalent education and experience.Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.Ability to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency is an asset.High‑quality care services to clients with up‑to‑date knowledge of community‑care practices.Physical ability to assist clients with movement and repositioning, lift up to 23 kg and perform required manoeuvres.Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile considered an asset.Clear criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.Primary location : PE‑Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
