Description

Are you a Project Leader looking to join an established business consulting company in the GTA? OSI is looking for a person to work with clients on or off site, as well as analyze their business needs.

The ideal candidate will be someone with strong skills in planning, designing and managing a project. You will be able to teach, train and empower clients and convey needs, concerns and priorities, to the software development team and the company's leadership team.

• Assist in project estimation, forecasting and task management.
• Represent OSI values effectively to clients and colleagues.
• Work closely with other team members, including business analysts and technical managers to ensure timely completion of work.
• Maintain budget awareness for all stakeholders and effectively manage project changes as necessary.
• Act as project leader and take charge of the project. Manage the scope, budget and schedule, ensuring that projects meet client and company expectations.
• Be able to contribute positively to all phases of the project life cycle.
• Build trusting relationships with OSI staff and clients.
• Positively represent OSI, customers and employees. You must demonstrate a positive attitude, even in challenging circumstances, and motivate other staff members to achieve maximum productivity.
• Possess the intuitive ability to identify risks, mitigate them and understand client needs.
• Provide accurate, sincere and insightful communication.
• Manage complex financial reports and track projects.
• Demonstrate competence in technical and commercial matters. The ideal candidate will also have a working understanding of Linux, Excel spreadsheets, working knowledge of ERP software, and the ability to discuss business processes and perform business process mapping.
• Demonstrate OSI values and represent OSI to the best of your ability, demonstrating dedication to customer success, trustworthy and reliable completion of tasks and assignments, working with other OSI team members, proactively addressing issues, and avoiding errors that could affect the company or customers.
• Demonstrate self-reliance to help solve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Proven client-facing consulting capabilities, highly desired.
• Become the functional link between the client and the company.

Skills

• PMP Certification and/or Professional Project Management Certificate (preferred).
• Experience implementing software systems (preferred).
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Diligent and efficient work.
• Ability to work easily in a very fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's studies (graduate). Master's studies are a plus.
• Minimum five (5) years of project management experience using industry standard project management tools and techniques.
• Languages: English (native), French is a plus.
• Professional ethics.

Salary

Salary to negotiate, according to experience.

Travel

Up to 25% or as required.
