Senior Electrical Engineer

AECOM  is seeking a motivated and skilled  Senior Electrical Engineer  to support the design and construction of infrastructure within the Buildings Places business line. This opportunity is based out of our Halifax Nova Scotia office with opportunities for hybrid work available.

AECOM Buildings Places Canada (BP Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture all the buildings engineering disciplines landscape architecture urban planning urban design economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects.

Major Responsibilities :

• Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
• Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
• Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by others.
• Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
• Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of contract documents package.
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings.
• Prepares technical specification sections.
• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements.
• Assists electrical engineering team with mentoring junior and intermediate engineering staff.
• Assists team manager with prioritizing workload and projects for CADD and Revit production technicians and technologists.
• Liases with other discipline leads to meet client performance objectives in an optimized and value added manner.
