Seasonal, Full Time
Position Summary :
These full time seasonal positions are at our Glen Williams Container farm in Georgetown, Ontario, and provide a great opportunity to learn about plants by working with them first-hand! These positions involve repetitive work which may include pruning, potting, watering, and plant maintenance.
Must be able to work in a fast paced and physically demanding environment often outside in inclement weather conditions.
Will require evening and weekend work, depending on seasonal weather patterns.
Your Accountabilities :
- Communicate effectively for job requirements and safety
- Meet daily targets for quality and productivity
- Planting and Potting; Crop Maintenance Clipping, Pruning, Staking, Harvesting
- Promote a safe and healthy working environment
- Able to join other work crews as priorities require at the direction of Management
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Must be in good physical condition and enjoy work in outdoor conditions
- Requires your own transportation arrangements to the Nursery
- No education and no experience required
- This job requires extended periods of walking and standing, as well as the ability to lift up to 50lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments.
