Secondary Long-Term Occasional Teacher

Eligibility :

All qualified secondary Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for LTO postings for which they are qualified.

Qualifications :

The successful candidate will be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and possess the following :

Required OCT Divisional Qualifications :

• Communications Tech Qualifications
• Health Care Tech Qualifications

OCT Additional Qualifications considered an asset :

An OT who accepts an LTO assignment cannot apply to another LTO assignment that interferes with classes they are actively teaching. It is the expectation that a teacher who accepts an assignment must agree to complete the assignment as posted.

The 2025-26 school year will consist of semesters. Teachers can teach a maximum of three (3) classes within a semester which equals 100%.
