What We Expect
The Payroll Analyst role requires a basic knowledge of payroll and will support the payroll team in day‑to‑day tasks.
Daily Responsibilities
- Validate and compile time‑sheet data
- Analyze and resolve time‑sheet related issues
- Respond to inquiries about banks and time‑sheet data
- Coordinate date‑approval changes
- Validate various payroll reports
- Execute bank adjustments
- Update standard procedures
- Collaborate closely with business partners
- Employee inquiry resolution
- Daily proactive interactions with internal customers
- Assist in compiling employee time and payroll data from time‑sheets
- Issue and record adjustments to previous errors
- Maintenance of standard work / procedures
- Report creation and validation
- In‑depth research of escalated issues
Required Qualifications
Post‑secondary degree (required)1 to 2 years payroll experience or combination of Payroll, HR, and / or Payroll IT experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)Customer service experienceSelf‑starter able to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environmentStrong organization skillsTeam‑playerOther Requirements
