Shepherd Village is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates for the position of Dietary Aide. You will support the Food & Nutrition Services department while working in either a long-term care or retirement setting. The Dietary Aide is responsible for the overall care and satisfaction of each Resident and Guest during mealtimes.

What You Will Work On

Reporting to the Manager, Food Services - Terrace, the successful applicant will be expected to represent Shepherd Village in a courteous and professional manner, while maintaining amicable relationships with staff, Residents and their families, in keeping with our Corporate Values.

How You’ll Create Impact

• Contribute to the overall care and satisfaction of each Resident and Guest during mealtimes
• Assist Residents during meals in a respectful and supportive manner
• Serve meals in accordance with therapeutic diet orders
• Transport dishes to and from the kitchen before and after mealtimes
