Position Summary
We are seeking a Product Development (Software) Project Manager (ON‑SITE) to join our team! The role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering digital tools projects, managing budgets, timelines, and resources, and ensuring project quality, scope, and stakeholder satisfaction. Attention to detail is a must! Working within a customer‑centric mindset will be key in this role. This is a senior role that will require knowledge in both business operations and software development in addition to project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing tools and further develop digital systems and solutions to fulfill business needs as directed by the different departments from internal business customers.
Essential Duties And Requirements
Create project plans tracking progress and mitigating risks in addition to budget and implementation timeline.Coordinate with both internal and external customer base to achieve tool aim and rollout success.Lead a development team and support team members with their activities both on a technical and personal advancement level.Strategic Software Lifecycle Leadership : Identify, scope, and champion the development and implementation lifecycle.Software Project & Programme Execution & Accountability : Take ownership of the successful execution of projects and programme.Run collaborative workshops with clients and internal stakeholders.Able to manage multiple projects while staying organised and adaptable.Other duties delegated by management.Mindset, Skills & Education
Energetic, eager, tenacious!Demonstrable expertise in managing the full software development lifecycle, preferably with experience in bespoke or in‑house developed software.A strong ability to audit existing platforms and make clear, actionable recommendations for software enhancements.Strong technical knowledge and understanding of the web / app development process.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with Data Security and Protection Toolkit and understanding of Cyber Essentials.Confidence in leading agile projects (focus on using Scrum methodologies).Ability to use support tools to assist remote users.Passion for troubleshooting and problem‑solving.Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Development Management.Strong customer service skills.Technical Proficiency
Proficiency in computer languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++.Experience with development frameworks and tools such as React, Angular, and .NET.Strong understanding of database management using SQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.Ability to debug and troubleshoot code efficiently to ensure optimal software performance.Adaptability and continuous learning to stay updated on new technologies and industry trends.Knowledge of MS Office, Windows, iPhone and Android devices.Linux and Windows Servers (2012 and later versions) including remote desktop, SSH.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious, career‑oriented individual desirous of being part of a large, evolving, and successful global organization with the ability to impact future success.
