This position reports to the Sr. Mill Maintenance Planner.
What you will do :
- Work with all stakeholders to develop a comprehensive job package for any assigned scopes
- Assist in the maintenance of the hierarchal structure, BOM’s and inventory addition requests, and PM activity requirements in alignment to manufacturer and regulatory requirements for the mechanical assets including emergency systems
- Evaluate and plan various types of job packages pertaining to project scopes
- Maintain comprehensive equipment specifications, records, and histories for all production related industrial equipment
- Ensure the accumulation of accurate data
- Create reliable method job plan procedures to be used on repeatable jobs
- Receive job requests and reviews them with the initiating parties and the plant / Mill supervision to clarify any aspects of concern of the work request and to confirm the necessity of the job requests
- Ensure that all priority work is planned through the work order system in accordance with prescribed procedures
- Responsible to maintain an accurate weekly schedule of job tasks
- Assist the Maintenance Sr Planner in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of the mechanical Assets Maintenance System by performing analytical work
What you will bring :
2-year Technical Degree or Diploma or Interprovincial Journeyperson in a mechanical related field3+ years of experience in an Operations / Maintenance environment would be an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliar navigating and utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word & Excel) and EAM softwareStrong commitment to safetyCan work independently and is self-motivated to help drive positive improvementReady to make an impact with us?
