Job description

Our client in Dorval is currently looking for a order desk and office clerk representative.

The candidate will have the following responsibilities on the job :

  • Responding to customers’ inquiries via telephone and email
  • Processing orders, from order entry to invoicing
  • Providing responses related to delivery times, delays, billing, etc.
  • Working closely with the Production, Shipping, Accounting, and Sales departments to ensure product availability
  • With regards to customer service we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications
  • Data entry

Responsibilities

Enter customer orders into ERP system by doing data enty

Handle inbound inquiries, emails and some calls from suppliers

  • Understand our internal systems to provide the most accurate pricing product availability;
  • Quote customers

    Follow up to customer inquiries

    Thrives in a fast-paced environment

    Create invoices and follow up with various departments

    Filing

    Scanning documents

    Answering phone

    Order entry, allocation and printer picking slips

    Respond to customer inquiries

    Good customer relation

    Knowledge of invoicing and accounting cycle

    Customer follow up if necessary

    Qualifications

    Data-entry skills in order to efficiently work through our operating system / CRM

    Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills

    Highly organized, with ability to multi-task to meet or exceed deadlines in a fast-paced, changing

    Basic sales skills

    Ability to build maintain sustainable relationships with our customers and suppliers

    Can handle quantity rather than quality

    Meticulous

    Bilingual English and French spoken and written

    Able to generate picking slips for the shipping department

    Know the difference between a debit and a credit

    Extremely good memory, great with numbers and attention to detail

    Able to troubleshoot

    Ability to multi-task, good organizational and time management skills

    Ability to act on feedback provided by showing ownership of his or her own development

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written instructions

    Ability to write business correspondence
