Bilingual Tax Expert – WFH

Responsibilities

• Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products by providing tax guidance, reviewing self‑prepared returns, and preparing full‑service returns.
• Manage product/software inquiries and document interactions to maintain accurate records.
• Research and deliver correct answers using government sites, professional resources, and team expertise, communicating in clear, customer‑friendly terms.
• Use video communication software to interact with customers in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
• Provide copy, editing, and review of client’s personal tax returns and ensure compliance with complex elements (employment, self‑employment, rental income, investments, T1135, foreign income, credits and deductions).
• Ensure timely escalation of complex issues or customer concerns.
• Work a flexible schedule, minimum of 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Experience preparing personal tax returns using professional tax software.
• Proficiency in both English and French; ability to provide real‑time guidance to clients in either language.
• CRA RepID (representative identifier) for use of CRA Represent a Client service.

Preferred / Asset Qualifications

• Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns.
• Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns.

Compensation & Benefits

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach.

Base pay ranges by region:

• PEI: $24.50–$33.50 per hour
• BC: $24.50–$33.50 per hour
• Nova Scotia: $24.50–$33.50 per hour

This position is eligible for cash bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location, with ongoing pay equity reviews.
