Our Markham client has a need for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative.

Responsible for providing customer service support for customers and Sales Representatives and ensuring that Merit's customer needs are met or exceeded.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED

1. Answers incoming customer calls promptly to place orders for product sales.

2. Resolves problems and concerns that customers may have with all facets of product ordering, sales and service.

3. Tracks product shipments upon the customer's request or Sales Representatives' request.

4. Enters standing orders, fax orders, blanket orders, and mail orders as needed.

5. Assists Sales Representatives with customer account problems and sends samples to customers and Sales Representatives

6. Corresponds with Shipping, Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to ensure that Merit's products are available as soon as possible for shipment to the customer.

7. Enters phone orders as needed.

8. ability to manage time effectively and handle stressful situations

8. Performs other related duties and tasks as required.

SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education equivalent to a high school diploma, with one or more years of post-High School education preferred.
• A minimum of two years of previous customer service experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, ERP systems, and other applicable software programs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and make decisions quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of applicable customer service techniques and the ability to apply those techniques while working with the public.
• Bilingual- French / English. Exceptional verbal communication skills in both specified languages
• Ability to craft professional emails
• Bilingual- French

$55,000 salary
