Dessert Holdings is currently seeking aWarehouse Forklift Operator / Relief Team Leadto become a part of our dynamic team at ourLondon, Ontariofacility. This individual will work in the warehouse, performing shipping, receiving and inventory related team lead duties and job specific training.

Key Responsibilities

• The direction of department staff and assignment of duties, training of procedures, processes, and policy
• Planning and organization of daily operating functions and responsibilities
• Coordination of tasks, priorities, and responsibilities
• Effectively communicating with other departments in order to ensure we achieve organizational results.
• Various team lead and operating functions as they relate to the effective operation of the department.
• Adherence to procedures, safety practices, policy and holding others accountable for the same.

Qualifications and Requirements

• MUST be able to drive a Crown Reach StandupReach Truck & Dock Stackers.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid and up-to-date forklift certification.
• Must be comfortable working in freezer and coolers.
• Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
• Experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Focused on detail, accuracy, and a good understanding of inventory control.
• Scheduling flexibility, comfortable working in a cool working environment
• Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment, strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Leads the workforce by setting high standards for safety, punctuality, attendance, enthusiasm, work ethic and personal effort.
• Strong communication, conflict resolution skills, demonstrated leadership.
• Ability to make change quickly and respond to unplanned situations.
• Proficient with computer applications comfortable learning new systems

Schedule

• Wednesday to Saturday 2:30pm – 1:00am
• Tuesday to Saturday 11:30pm to 8:00am

Pay Rate

While performing Warehouserole, probationary rate per hour is $24.79and full rate is $27.55

While performingTeam Lead role, probationary rate per hour is $27.20and full rate is $30.22.
