Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for Dental Office Assistants to join the Dental Program team at Robert & Lily Lee Family Community Health Centre in Vancouver BC. Apply today to join our team!

As a Dental Office Assistant you will :

• Provide office reception duties to support the operations of the dental clinic.
• Enter relevant client information into an electronic system schedule and book client dental visits and procedures and maintain / assemble clients records and charts.
• Compile clinic statistics process payments for dental services and perform a variety of other administrative / clerical related duties for the Dental Program as required.
• Maintain inventories of medical equipment and instruments clean and sterilize medical equipment and instruments and perform related administrative support functions.
• Perform dental assistant functions as required.

The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.

As per Ministry of Health policy all health care workers working in publicly-funded health care facilities are required to report their past receipt of certain vaccines or history of certain infections. Collecting these records will allow for offering of any missing vaccines and for appropriate actions to be taken in the event of any future exposure to a communicable disease or during outbreaks.
