We are seeking a Commercial Insight Analyst who will analyze market trends and provide insights to inform strategic decision making. This role involves providing stakeholders with the detailed reports and visuals they need to clearly understand the complex data within the Specialty Pharmaceutical industry. Collaborating closely with the Business Intelligence Developers, the Commercial Insight Analyst will oversee the development efforts focused on constructing innovative solutions for our patients.
An ideal candidate will have the ability to work with a diverse range of people across the organization, while spending time understanding contexts and objectives, in addition to communicating insights effectively and advocating for solutions and optimizations while telling the story based on the data!
How you will make an impact
- Analyze data for market trends and patterns to communicate to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., partners) and apply learnings.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Developers to develop procedures for collection and analysis of data focused on quality to facilitate enhanced decision making.
- Support the collection of real-word data (RWD) and real-world evidence (RWE) generation for health outcomes and economic impacts.
- Provide proactive insights on performance KPIs and timely communication.
- Enhance business processes and services through linking insights based on data.
- Manages the maintenance of effective and actionable sales reporting dashboards
- Efficiently manage customer lists and segmenting into appropriate groups, facilitating targeted sales strategies
- Collaborate with program teams to find, create, and deliver enhancement and program efficiencies through data insights.
- Provide recommendations to enhance the patient’s experience using data insights.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business case development, evaluating the financial feasibility and profitability of new and existing solutions through data gathering, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Assess industry and community market trends to propose areas of innovation and efficiencies.
- Assess financial impact (including forecasting) of innovative solutions and provide recommendations on project initiation and / or continuation.
- Work collaboratively with business partners to bring innovative solutions to the market with clear business case analysis that drive bottom-line value.
- Support Director of Business Development in assessing and recommending areas of focus for Strategic Partner Relations.
What you’ll bring to our team
3-5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or equivalent role.Experience working with financial modeling techniques to facilitate accurate forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making, utilizing tools such as PowerBI.Experience within pharmaceutical, Patient Support Programs, and / or Healthcare and an understanding of how data is used within these industries is required. This experience must be clearly detailed in your application.Knowledge of data visualization with PowerBI dashboards or an equivalent toolStrong communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients.Experience in a client facing role. Demonstrated ability to understand and capture client needs and provide guidance on data related or reporting related requests.Ability to manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize your work and the requests to the Data Analytics team.Ability to elicit business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories for the team.Strong business planning, analytical, and conceptual skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions.Technical acumen related to Data Analytics, Modeling, and associated toolsets is a strong asset.With one tree planted for every new hire, why not start your new job on a green foot and help us lower our carbon footprint.
