Job descriptionDeliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products Maintain professionalism in customer service Receive and relay information to central dispatch Keep a record of items received and delivered Load and unload goods Sort packages for delivery Follow directions and read map / use maps and other trip planning aids Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems Perform administrative tasks Provide customer service Perform pre‑trip, en‑route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle Valid driver's licence (Class 5 / 5F / G) Experience in transportation / travel (local) Criminal record check, driver’s licence check, driving record check required Valid driver’s licence; weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Personal suitability : Flexibility, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Dependability, Initiative, Punctuality Health benefits : Dental plan, Disability benefits, Health care plan, Paramedical services coverage, Vision care benefits Financial benefits : Group insurance benefits, Life insurance Long‑term benefits : Long‑term care insurance Other benefits : Learning / training paid by employer, Travel insurance
