Overview
We are seeking an experienced UX Architect to lead the design vision and user experience strategy for a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the logistics and transportation domain. The role is based in Calgary and involves working closely with a major logistics organization undergoing modernization of its customer-facing digital platforms. The UX Architect will shape product vision, simplify complex onboarding journeys, design intuitive dashboards, and improve shipment visibility experiences for enterprise and operational users. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role requiring strong facilitation, strategic thinking, and hands-on design leadership.
Location : Calgary, AB (Remote possible with on-site visits to Calgary once per month; traveling costs reimbursed).
Engagement Type : Contract (Client-facing role).
Responsibilities / Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or experience architecture roles
- Proven experience leading UX for complex enterprise or B2B platforms, preferably in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or industrial domains
- Strong expertise in simplifying complex onboarding flows and form-heavy experiences
- Demonstrated ability to design data-heavy dashboards that are intuitive, actionable, and user-centric
- Hands-on experience with design thinking methodologies, journey mapping, personas, and service blueprints
- Excellent facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in leading workshops and presentations at senior levels
- Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, FigJam, or similar collaborative platforms
- Strong understanding of accessibility, usability heuristics, and inclusive design principles
