Our client, a school in Alberta , is looking to hire a DVM Instructor to join their team. The DVM Instructor will have the opportunity to be a pivotal part of empowering students and educating students to help prepare them for work in the real world.
The DVM Instructor role will be a full-time position, in Alberta , allowing the right candidate the opportunity to enjoy work-life balance with no emergency on-call or rotational work.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Leading classroom labs and field trips
- Developing and evaluating assessments
- Delivering curriculum on subjects such as Pharmacology, Animal Nursing, Surgery, Dentistry, Anesthesia and Animal Diseases
- Employing innovative teaching methods, active learning and student
DESIRED PROFILE :
Registration as DVM in good standing with the ABVMAA minimum 3 years of industry experience with both large and small animalsProficiency in essential Microsoft Applications and a familiarity with Avimark is advantageousCapability to present information professionally and facilitate engaging discussionsCommitment to collaboration and professional accountability
